Taken down by Facebook

Touch me there

This photo was taken down by Facebook because it does not meet their Community Standards. I guess Facebook doesn’t know the story behind the photo and just took it down without even asking.

The reason more than likely is that there is nudity in the photo. Though nudity is different from pornography.

“pornographic material, defined by Webster’s Dictionary as “explicit descriptions or displays of sexual organs or activities intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings”

I don’t see any sexual organs or activities in this photo, do you? Neither it is intended to simulate erotic feelings.

So I cannot post, comment or reply on Facebook for a week. Henceforth, I will be posting just a link to images that might be reported again and be deemed by Facebook to be against their Community Standards. There is also my Twitter account.

Twitter does not take down an account or a post because someone reported it as containing sensitive material.

“Some forms of graphic violence or adult content may be permitted in Tweets when they are marked as sensitive media.”

“Please note that exceptions may be made for artistic, medical, health, or educational content.”

I would not also recommend using Instagram as it is owned by Facebook.
